Dave Buckton has a background working on conservation projects and as a wildlife and landscape photographer. An accomplished photographer, Dave has had opportunities to photograph some of New Zealand’s most endangered wildlife and remote locations. His photography has a classic natural style and has been published in books, magazines, journals, calendars and as postcards showcasing New Zealand’s natural beauty.

Please wear shorts or if it’s colder then long pants that you can roll up, jeans tend to stay wet if they get wet, and may impact your comfort. Outdoor clothing and and sturdy shoes are essential for this trip. Bring and extra layer and be prepared for the sun. There are a few creek crossings, where you may get your feet wet, our guides are there to get you over safely and dry. We have limited spare clothes and some walking poles available.
